Tris-Buffered Saline (TBS) is low salt used for Western Blot Washing with a concentration of 10X. TBS Buffer Low Salt 10X contains 500 mM Tris, 1.5M NaCl and has a pH level of 7.4. TBS is isotonic and non-toxic, and is used to dilute substances. Tris-buffered saline (TBS) buffer is used as a washing buffer for electrodes and to wash microtiter plates for Western blot experiments and screening methods.
