Animal-Free protein Blocker (5X) is a plant-derived protein for immunohistochemistry, Western blotting, and other applications where animal proteins show higher backgrounds. This reagent can be used as an alternative to animal sera, BSA, casein, or non-fat dry milk. Supplied as 250mL of a 5X concentrate with thimerosal as a preservative.
