Genomics of Cancer Cells
Analysis of the genomes, exomes, and transcriptomes of over 1000 childhood cancers has identified 142 genes that drive different cancer types. Circulating Tumor DNA (ctDNA) in CDK4/6 inhibitor treatment in advanced breast cancer predict progression-free survival and anticipate clonal selection. Genomic profiling reveals spatial intra-tumor heterogeneity in follicular lymphoma. Enriching cancer cell population by using fluorescent-tag lectins for FACS or specific macro beads-lectin conjugates may facilitate such studies, thus reducing noise by normal cells in the final analysis. GlycoMatrix™ offers a brand range of cancer biomarker lectins for such studies.
